The Scientist Victor Frankenstein
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley is a bilgewater of a scientist, Victor Frankenstein, who creates feel in the form of a monster. Although Frankenstein resolves to hating the pecker after he kills a majority of Victors family, there argon many reasons wherefore the creature and him are sympathetic in personalities. When Frankenstein created the creature he made a doppelganger, which is a complex representation of both character s by dint of literature, of himself (Webber). Throughout the book it is observable in personality, actions, and thoughts, that Frankenstein and the creature are just alike.\nAt the offset printing of both Frankenstein and the creatures lives they were filled with a\nyearning for knowledge. Victor aimed to take up as much as he could about intelligence and human life. He contact himself with books and exacting and even odd for college at 17, From this day ingrained philosophy, and particularly chemistry, became nearly my mend occupation (pg.31). Aft er make Ingolstadt, Victors quest for knowledge grew to the vizor where he was isolating himself from his family, I proceeded, and soon became so passionate and eager that the stars often disappeared in the light of the morning whilst I was yet engaged in my laboratory (pg.31). On the other hand, the creature had a divergent quest for knowledge. The creature was interest with humans, and he wanted to learn everything he could to become a part of their world. He read, intentional about the habits of humans, and listened to the words they communicate to each other. Using books, the creature was able to relate himself to humans, The self-denial of these treasures gave me extreme delight; I now continually analyze and exercised my mind upon these treasuries (pg.92).
